Hyundai's N brand chipping away at a genuine corona execution auto

"New corona models will shape the brand," Thomas Schemera, head of N and the Hyundai Motorsports division, told correspondents today in Germany. "We will share the points of interest soon."
Sadly, Schemera wouldn't be pushed on what shape, size, or market section the radiance model would take. Nor would he indicate with reference to whether the model will be an amazing idea or a closer-to-creation vehicle. Schemera, similar to N division manager Albert Biermann, came to Hyundai N from BMW's M division, so it's protected to state the combine have a few thoughts regarding how to make exciting radiance autos.
This isn't the first occasion when we've heard thunderings about a corona show. Toward the beginning of June, Biermann spilled no less than a couple of beans discussing the brand's item direction.
The N division - consider it like Hyundai's variant of Mercedes-Benz's AMG, or Audi Sport GmbH - was reported at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Up until now, the brand is offering the i30 N hot hatchback in Europe and the mechanically related Veloster N in South Korea. The 2019 Veloster N will dispatch in the US toward the finish of this current year, likely around November; Roadshow will have a first drive of the auto for you one week from now.
Schemera said later that one of the issues for the N mark is that there is right now no Hyundai proprietor network; clients purchase Hyundais "to get from A to B," and aren't really "auto authorities" like, say, M customers. Getting individuals in the driver's seat of the i30 and Veloster N could begin to change that - however so could a show-ceasing radiance display.
